Big Thanks To Northern Dutchess Hospital!

Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses and staff at Northern Dutchess Hospital. We appreciate how much they take care of all of us. We are sharing 8 cases of Girl Scout cookies so when you feel a little tired you know we are thinking of you!

We Are Finding Our Voice During This Covid-19 Crisis

We have given back to our community in 2 ways.

  1. We sent pictures and videos to nursing home residents who could not have visitors or get outside.
  2. We donated part of our cookie money raised to Samaritan’s Purse, the organization which has set up a field tent hospital in Central Park. 

We are also continuing to have troop meeting on Zoom and we are working on our Media Journey. We are working on this main project during this time: “Living and Coping with Our New Reality: A View From Girl Scout Cadettes.”

We believe our voices need to be heard. Please come back to read our stories.

Troop 2832 Needs Your Help to Build A Library in Uganda with African Library Project!

Starting February 24th, Girl Scouts Troop 2832 will start collecting gently used and new books at St. Stans Academy. Please consider donating hard or soft cover books from PreK to 8th grade reading levels (NO holiday books, religious books, ONLY English). We need to collect 1000 books in total.

We are also raising money for shipping supplies and costs. We must raise $500. Please make checks payable to Girl Scouts.

We are working on this project to earn our Silver Award. Each girl has developed their own plan to raise awareness and collect books.
